We were up at the cabin for the long weekend over Labor Day. The kids were running in and out and the moths were following. Before, when the kids had been up at the cabin, they had discussed their fear of Coyotes. Earlier in the day, Alice had told us that there were Coyotes in the cabin. We told her that Coyotes don't come in Papas cabin. Then, while getting ready for bed, the kids were preparing to sleep on the deck, when the door opened and in flew a moth. I was taking pictures of Alice and Michelle, and all of the sudden Alice yelled "a Coyote, a Coyote", pointing at a moth flying in the cabin. We were laughing so hard. That was when we had to explain that a Coyote is a big scary dog, and the little flying bugs were called moths, an ugly butterfly. Kids say the funniest things.

That cracks me up! I love it (reminds me of the time Aki and I got in an argument over grapefruit, and he was thinking in his head of cranberries the whole time). It looks like you're having fun.
Will we get to see you on Saturday (baby blessing)?
